Lobstermen, Port Clyde , Maine
Oil on Board

Taking the mail boat out of Port Clyde on the way to Monhegan, you pass lobstermen loading their traps. When old bait is thrown into the sea, the gulls flock to pick up the lefovers.

The lobstermen in their bright vermillion aprons make for a beautiful scene. JBS

Monhegan Island Painting

This painting is 36x48", Oil on Canvas $2000.00

Painted on Monhegan Island near the lighthouse, and Island Museum overlooking the Monhegan Island Cemetery. In the distance you can see the small harbor, lobster boats, and the little Island of Mananna.

In the lower center is the famous Island Inn.

Here is a link to my other paintings, a bio, etc.
